The 'Ranger' peach tree is swinging into bloom...finally!

A photo of one of my peach trees espaliered on the chain link fence. I also have a peach tree growing the same way. Flowers on the pear and the other varieties of peach will come a bit later...

my wife would like to have some fruit trees ....what would be your suggestion be as far as ease of care in wise co. texas.
Do you have any pics of your peach tree in full foliage on the fence?

Hi Jim, sorry for the delayed response…spring is crazy for me! I do have a picture of the peach in bloom, I’ll get that up shortly. ‘Ranger’ Peach is a good variety with low chilling hours. In fact there are several different peaches that would work. ‘Moonglow’ Pear would be one for you to try. Mexican plums are both wonderful ornamental trees but also produce tons of small red plums. Persimmons would also work.
