Fall Veggie Gardening Class at NHG August 12th

Aug 3, 2009

Lettuce For those of you in the DFW area that would like to attend a weekday Fall Veggie Gardening class, I'll be teaching one here at North Haven Gardens next Wednesday, August 12th at 10:30 am. Most of our free programs are on the weekends, but we get requests for weekday options. I'm SO glad it's almost time to start salad greens again!

Read your article in Neil Sperry’s Gardens and want to find some fava beans.  Really having a hard time this year in West Texas (San Angelo area) and had heartbreaking time with no rain in my Spring and Summer garden. Hope this Fall will be better and need to help my soil.  Please help.

Hi Judy!
If you still can’t find them let me know, I’ll mail you some.

The fava beans will help improve your soil and really do not take a lot of care. My folks live out in Odessa so they are in the same boat! I hope you guys get some rain soon. Fall is coming so we’ll keep out fingers crossed!
