Dinner from the garden…

Just in case those of you living in Texas don't realize how much you can grow here in the winter, all winter, this is what my dinner plate looked like last night. Straight from the garden to the plate. YUM. I dedicate this plate to Rod and Julie Dreher...as I think this is what they'll be eating for the next month!

Dang, that’s a good looking plate of food. We Orthodox can have dairy for a few more days, then it’s vegan till April 19. Call me when your bok choy comes in.

Would love to have fresh veggies from my garden right now but wouldn’t trade your heat in the summer for anything. But certainly enjoy watching all the different things you grow.

Carole…true, we do fry a bit in summer time around these parts. But I don’t mind it. I’m cold blooded, so I have a hard time moving my limbs once temps dip below 72 degrees!

And Rod, it’s on the late side for your bok choy. You can start new seed in August, or pick up transplants starting in September. L
